Independent Educational Evaluations
An Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) is an assessment conducted by a qualified professional who is not employed by your child’s school. If you disagree with the results of the school’s Full and Individual Evaluation (FIE), you have the right to request an IEE at the school's expense. The request for an IEE must be made through the school district, but as a parent, you have the right to select your own provider for the IEE.
